拡充版！の新イラストと共に見る天守台構造

ご覧のイラストは、前々回の記事でお届けした新イラストを、さらに広い範囲に拡大して、そこに想定される狭間塀（さまべい）や走長屋などを描き加えたものです。

こうしてご覧いただきますと、当サイトの復元案では、豊臣大坂城の天守台周辺はかなり複雑な構造になっていることがお分かりでしょう。

で、今回は、何故こんな形になるのかを、特に天守台の中の石蔵（穴倉）を中心に図解付きでご覧いただこうと思います。
まずは復元の基本的な考え方としまして…
　
　
　
Ⅰ．＜中井家蔵『本丸図』の朱線はやはり無視できない、という基本スタンス＞
　
　

通称「黄堀図」部分　　　　　　　　　　「青堀図」部分

（※当図は上が南）

お馴染みの中井家蔵『本丸図』には通称「黄堀図」「青堀図」と呼ばれる２枚があり、そのいずれもが、天守の南西隅（図では天守の右上の角）のあたりを墨線でなく「朱線」で描いています。

『本丸図』の他の箇所では「朱線」は土塀や狭間塀を示しているため、この天守の「朱線」をどう解釈するかについては色々な見解がありました。

前回記事でご紹介した櫻井成廣案は「天守台上の空き地を囲う土塀」と考え、また宮上茂隆案は「（この部分の天守壁面が）本丸地面から直接建ち上がっていた」と考証し、三浦正幸案・佐藤大規案はかなり限定的にとらえて石蔵（穴倉）の入口だけ復元するなど様々でしたが、この部分はやはり、何か“特殊な状態”であったことを示しているように思われてなりません。

そしてもう一つ、ここには気になる「朱線」が引かれています。

天守台の南側（写真では上側）に、御殿（「御納戸」）との境界を区切るかのように引かれた「朱線」があり、その中央付近からは天守側に伸びる「朱線」がＴ字形に枝分かれしています。

このように天守台の間際を細かく仕切った「塀」というのは、現存天守や城絵図の天守にもまるで例が無いため、諸先生方の復元案では、この塀の用途（ねらい）をはっきり言及したものはありませんでした。
　
　
ただ唯一、大竹正芳先生が、『本丸図』は築城開始早々の様子だという前提で、
「この時点ではまだ天守の建物が築かれていなかったに違いない。天守台のまわりを塀で囲ったのは工事の安全確保と機密保持のためではなかろうか」（『秀吉の城』１９９６年所収）
と指摘されたのが、合理的な解釈として印象に残っているのみです。

大竹先生の解釈は、例えば尾張名古屋城の天守台を加藤家（清正）が独力で築いた際に、石垣技術の「機密保持」のために幕で覆った… 云々という伝承を想起させるもので、かなり魅力的です。

しかし加藤家のケースは、築城が徳川幕府の監視下であり、諸大名の分担箇所が複雑に入り組んだ「天下普請」の場であったからで、豊臣大坂城の天守台築造のときも、そのような機密保持は本当に必要だったのでしょうか。
　
　
さらに当サイトでは『本丸図』の作成時期は「秀吉の最晩年」だったのではないかと申し上げています。（「２０１０年度リポート」）

その場合、大竹先生の指摘を参考にしますと、なんと、慶長地震で秀吉の天守が大破したあと、秀頼の再建天守（当サイト仮説）が建つまでの “空白期間” に当たる（！）という可能性が出て来ます。

しかしこれについても、果たしてその状態の「機密保持」は本当に必要だったか？という疑問はぬぐえず、この複雑な塀（朱線）はやはり、何かしら別の役割を担っていたように思われるのです。

　
　
Ⅱ．＜いま確認できる秀吉の天守台には「浅い穴倉しかない」という、厳然たる事実＞

さて、豊臣大名の天守台には、大規模な石蔵（穴倉）の有るものと無いものが混在しておりまして、その違いを分けた判断基準は何なのか、定かでありません。

例えば秀吉直臣だった浅野長政の甲府城、加藤清正の熊本城、黒田長政の福岡城などの天守台にはそれが有ったのに、いわゆる五大老の毛利輝元の広島城や萩城、前田利家の金沢城（推定）、小早川隆景の三原城、宇喜多秀家の岡山城などは一様に「無かった」と言えそうだからです。
　
　
―――では秀吉自身の居城はどうだったか？とダイレクトに問えば、上写真でご覧のとおり、いま確認できる秀吉の天守台遺構は、姫路城も、肥前名護屋城も、深さ５尺ほどの浅い穴倉しか存在しなかった（！）という厳然たる事実があります。
　
　
さらにもしも石垣山城や山崎城の天守台跡にも発掘調査が入れば、事態はずっとクリアになるはずだと思うのですが、私の勝手な印象を申しますと、やはりそれらも大規模な石蔵（穴倉）は想像しにくく、たとえ有ったとしても、同様の浅い穴倉の跡が見つかるのではないかと感じられてなりません。

ですから豊臣大坂城についても、気宇壮大な天守台がそびえながら、その上に、わずか「深さ５尺」という浅い穴倉を“いかに復元できるか”が、現下のマニア冥利（みょうり）につきると思うのです。
　
　
で、以上のⅠ．Ⅱ．の考え方を両立できる復元が、ご覧のとおりの複雑な天守台だと考えられるわけです。

    I have heard good things about blogengine.net.

    Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts
